Many of us LOVE dogs! Seriously, unless you're allergic, who doesn't love a dog? Personally, I can't see myself ever living without a dog to love and love me back. Anyway, I thought it would be fun to see how many of these famous movie or TV dogs you can name. You might have to do a little research if you're a generation Y-er but most generation X-ers should be able to recognize these dogs fairly easy.
1. Remember when this Golden Retriever made waves playing basketball?
2. Probably the most famous collie in film and television.
3. You may have seen the original 1970s film but this famous stray was given a remake this year.
4.The 1957 original was a classic you can't watch without crying. His story was based on a
novel by Fred Gipson.
5. Dudley Moore narrated this live action story of a dog and cat who befriend each other and embark on an exciting adventure. Can you name this adorable pug?
6.Some dogs just need more training...and patience! This yellow lab was famously known for his hyperactivity.
7.Remember this sweet giant from TV's Empty Nest and The Golden Girls?
8. How about this Seattle-based dog that lived in Dr. Frasier Crane's apartment?
9.This big boy became famous in the original 1992 movie starring Charles Grodin and Bonnie Hunt.
10. In the 1950s there was a TV series about a heroic German Shepherd that stole our hearts.
